Australian producer Anarchosophist is back to release bonkers ‘Lofi epic’ featuring Yori Dade on sax
Instrumental hip hop producer Anarchosophist (also known as guitarist Padraig Parkhurst from Brisbane, Australia), is set to release a dizzying mix of dance, lo-fi and free jazz called ‘…I’d Have Killed It Myself’ featuring the formidable sax skills of Yori Dade.
‘I really wanted to push the envelope on this one. There’s too many unambitious beats out there, so I wanted to create a sort of lofi epic, even at only three and a half minutes. I’ll leave it up to the audience to decide whether or not I achieved that’ Padraig explained. Yori adds ‘it constantly teeters on the verge of insanity, but the groove holds it all together, giving it an almost mellow vibe’.
Or at least until the twisted sax solo comes in and blows the roof off.
‘…I’d Have Killed It Myself’ comes out on all platforms on Saturday, November 30th, 2019
