We periodically get calls for music from a couple of music supervisors that we work with. There are currently two movies in post production.
1) Edgy independent movie about Los Angeles. Client needs 4 different tracks – requirement is that the music be vibey and edgey…songs must have strong lyrics with LA, City of Angels, Los Angeles as the focal point of the songs. – Alt-rock, anti-folk, hip-hop street
No upfront fees on this one, all deferred payment based on Box Office and DVD sales.
(Client is also looking fo a song with Hollywood, Santa Monica, Malibu, etc. in the title – cities in the Metro LA area. No on OC, Long Beach, etc.)

2) Need Score Cues – Think Cape Fear, dark, thematic and moody. This needs to be real orchestration, no synthesizer. These can be licensable cues from similar era and genre films or new scores in same style.
