Chase Emery Davis

Chase Emery Davis (aka Ko9) is a good looking, tall, blue eyed, a classically trained musician with great stage presence, and an astonishing voice, with a 3-octave range reminiscent of Aha’s Morten Harket.

He has crossed over from the worlds of Musical Theatre and Jazz into EDM, armed with degrees in music production, sonic arts, and composition plus 10 years of experience in film acting, musical theatre, and solo acoustic music performances.

Joining the rare ranks of British DJ/Vocalist/Songwriters such as Cristina Novelli and Harrison, his original tracks are unsurprisingly melodically driven, with interesting harmonies, which traverse several dance music genres from Progressive House to Trance to Techno. Imagine a mix of Arman van Burren, Martin Garrix, and DeadMaus, with some world beats thrown in for fun.

Born in New York and raised in Paris, Chase speaks several languages and sings in 10. Like many Dj’s, he was a self-taught songwriter, and by 18 he was composing music at an advanced level. Rather than jump into the music scene like the highly creative young Avicii, he decided to begin formal studies in music.

At Brunel University, he self-produced his first LP “Endymion Dreams”, which was reviewed to high praise by the examiner, a music reviewer for the Guardian who wrote:

“It’s a mark of your success with this album that I am tempted to assess it as a commercial release rather than as a final year project. Well done!

When not writing and DJing, Chase performs as a fine jazz singer reinterpreting the Great American Songbook, and works as a professional French/English bilingual voice actor.

Chase’s new dance track “Live Forever” was recently supported by BBC Radio Berkshire.
