for KING & COUNTRY previews new album ‘What Are We Waiting For?’ out March 11th

For one of the biggest months for music, the Australian brother pop duo for KING & COUNTRY plan to release their fourth studio album, ‘What Are We Waiting For?’. Due to be released on March 11th, this project marks the beginning of the next chapter for Joel and Luke Smallbone.

For the post-pandemic narrative, for KING & COUNTRY acknowledge their social responsibility and focus on spreading joy and confronting relevant issues rather than putting forward statements. Joel and Luke are not scared to tap into raw emotions like self-doubt and offer their community a glimpse of hope packaged in thirteen new songs.

In the preparation of the ‘What Are We Waiting For?’ album release for KING & COUNTRY present multiple singles, such as the record opener ‘RELATE’ that also received an R3HAB remix. In terms of production, the duo nailed the art of translating confessional lyrics into mid-tempo songs with catchy choruses, such as the most recent single ‘Love Me Like I Am’ with quite a striking accompanying music video.

for KING & COUNTRY talks about the isolation period during which they worked on their fourth studio album: “What’s been particularly beautiful about this album is that we were able to be home with our families while making it.” Honoring their strong family bond, the brothers also share the heartwarming ode to their parents on ‘Unsung Hero’ featuring Dante Bowe.
