Indie Rock Band O the Fool Announces Debut Album Renaissance Man

For the past year, Massachusetts indie rock band O the Fool has been working on their debut album, Renaissance Man, as they officially announced on the first day of 2021. The duo consists of brothers Ethan (20) and Eric (23) Robbins who are unsigned and produce everything themselves. They have released three singles to date on major streaming platforms, the most recent being Self Aware featuring rapper Sydthereal1. The track riffs on the typical indie rock format by interweaving elements of hip hop and jazz, and Sydney’s verse is a 90s-inspired rap masterpiece.

So far from OtF we’ve seen a Sinatra-inspired crooner love song (Better), a modern and jam out-worthy indie rock song (Guessing?) and the aforementioned Self Aware. These tracks are expected to be present on the album alongside a new suite of unannounced songs which, according to Eric’s Twitter (@othefooleric), will total over an hour in length.

The brothers have used a home studio to produce their first three tracks, as well as the rest of the upcoming Renaissance Man. From their social media, we have seen some hints and teases towards the style and flavor of the album through photo shoots, past singles, and promotional art. Following them on Spotify, Instagram, and Twitter, is the best way to support the new duo and be the first to hear the album!
