Interview with Muszsette

Hi Muszette! Thanks for being here!

How do you balance artist life and normal life?

I don’t know that I do haha. Music pretty much is my life, I’m always talking about it or working on it, but I will say I plan a lot of things with friends/family and that helps me to basically turn off for a certain amount of time and just be present with them.

What have been some of your greatest achievements as an artist?

I love that I got to go to Australia to play some shows out there. Traveling and singing are my two highest values so combined it really was a dream come true for me! I also won the CES theme song competition back in 2017, and that was pretty epic to perform in Vegas for a week with my band!

If you had to sum music in three words which would you choose?

Vibrations, Emotions, Harmonies

How do you stay focused?

Meditating daily helps keep me super grounded. I also am the queen of to-do lists and have learned that a lot of things I think will only take 10 mins might take an hour or more, so I need to be forgiving of the process and be a little more patient with myself!

Have you celebrated any recent victories in your career?

I am pretty proud of this new EP I just put out on Feb 12th, Big Mood!!! It seems like people are really reacting positively to one of the songs called “Power” off of it, and I can’t wait to see how it will grow!

What do you see as the most important habits of successful people?

Being your #1 biggest fan and cheerleader! Life is so volatile and you have to have a really strong belief in yourself to not give up and keep moving forward in a consistent way, which brings me to the next – consistency! So important to maintain your standard of excellence and then keep leveling up so you can beat your own personal best!  The third I would probably say is time management but I wouldn’t know very much about that haha.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don’t be afraid to look vulnerable in asking for help.

Is there anything that you would like to master?

I would actually love to master time management now that I just remembered I need to get better at that! Also mastering French, Spanish, and relearning piano would be a plus.
