Jonny Ong melds East and West with latest track ‘Chloe’

The man bringing Eastern flavour to Western psychedelia is back with his unique take on the break up anthem, calling out his ex by name, in a song called ‘Chloe’.

This track sees Ong making use of biblical references to compare the woman in question to a snake, before asking how she sleeps at night. A bitterly angry song, the melody is dark and brooding and the instrumentation rich and indulgent, like the sins of the snake in question.

Ong has proven before that he has the capabilities to translate universal human emotions into psyched-out rock songs, and now brings that touch to his latest track. ‘Chloe’ is a triumph.
