MD: Thank You for having me.
IW: How did you and this producer hookup?
MD: Me freestyling over his beats on YouTube, feeling like i was the best over his production. so i decided to do something about it, reaching out respectfully to hip-hop producer “Sypooda” see what kinda of deal or agreement we could come to.
IW: How hard was it recording this project and how does it stand up against the rest of your catalogue?
MD: against? this project stands with all my albums + Mixtapes. It ushers in a new creative direction and i want people to hear how dope i think Sypooda is. Congratulations to him forreal he just did that track for Benny the Butcher & SI ARYE “Peress 0” Word!
IW: Where does your passion for what you do come from?
MD: it comes from somewhere else not from here being honest with you! I love this art because of how it communicates to countless people who don’t even speak the same language.
IW: Are you signed with any major labels?
MD: Naw, really don’t want to be. learning how to grow from a ground level. If Lebron James was really just that good, he could’ve not signed with the NBA he would’ve been just as great if not a greater brand for himself.
IW: So…
MD: No.
