London, UK (PRWEB UK) 26 October 2012
E-MUTE is a new music act ready to shake the foundations of the rock scene.
The band’s music has been described as Franz Ferdinand meets Muse, the Foo Fighters and Depeche Mode.
Individually, E-Mute’s band members already have impressive cv’s, some of which feature collaborations with the likes of Chaka Khan, Scott James of Stereophonics, Moby, Kaiser Chiefs, Black Eye Peas, Dido and many others.
Collectively E-Mute have created a sound with a harder edge, great melodies that fuse dark edgy rock, electronica and philosophical lyrics.
“Guitar and vocal moments that bring to mind desert rock bands like Queens of the Stone Age, and even post-grunge era groups like Velvet Revolver – and this is just one small facet of E-MUTE’s sound. ‘Clock Moves Forward’ delivers dark, dancey rock and throughout the EP, you’ll find traces of electronic music influences. Whatever genres they touch on, if you’re a fan of music, you might just be smitten by E-MUTE.” – Headcase Outlet October 2012.
‘Clock Moves Forward’ the new single and video by E-Mute is out now, released exclusively worldwide by The Independent Chart Organisation.
E-Mute’s debut EP ‘Too Proud To Say Loud’ gets its release in November 2012. Produced by John Robertson (Morcheeba, Vanessa Mae, Grace Jones) the ep sees the band closing off 2012 in style and ready for a fortuitous busy new year.
