Maria Krauss is an 18 year old American-Peruvian Pop singer from Warminster, PA.
At age 16, she was invited to participate in a choral performance at the Carnegie Hall in NYC. This incredible opportunity was a major stepping stone in Maria’s career, she performed among hundreds of talented musicians and artists from all over the world, and she trained and rehearsed for a week with renowned music directors in the industry.
Maria has been working very hard and diligently for several months, learning to balance the pressure from high school, receiving weekly music lessons, performing at open mics, maintaining after school hours jobs, attending overnight and lengthy studio recording sessions, participating in creative sessions, and starring in her own music video shoots. All while traveling hundreds of miles across state-lines on a weekly basis, spending countless hours in studio lockouts, writing songs, and more.
Maria has been focused in creating new music, music videos and content that will be released within this and next year. Her next upcoming release is for her new single “About Your Love”, and you won’t want to miss it! “About Your Love” will be available in all streaming services by next week, stay tuned to Maria’s social media for updates on the exact dates the song will be going live on Spotify and Apple Music.
“About Your Love” is a song that was inspired by Maria’s mental health struggles with Anxiety, Depression, Body Dysmorphia and ADHD. Maria uses her music as a way to cope, to express herself and to connect with her audience using her personal and real life struggles as a source of motivation and inspiration to write her songs. Her hope is to inspire other teenagers and adults struggling with mental health and to offer them some way of comfort by showing others that they are not alone in this.
Maria has recently partnered with Sessions Live to perform as a headliner at “The Road to Life is Beautiful” virtual festival for a chance to perform at the one in person “Life is Beautiful” festival in Las Vegas.
