On tour with Imelda May, Rachael Sage unveils new single ‘Revelation Ground’

In the middle of her supporting tour alongside the iconic Imelda May, Rachael Sage thrives, sharing the intranquility of her poetic lyricism with fans across the pond. The New York City-based alt-folk-pop artist spends some quality time in the UK and Ireland promoting her newest gem, ‘Revelation Ground.’

Rachael Sage is an artist with a capital A. There is no one like her, and no one bears even to touch the magic she does with words. Her signature poetic songwriting is as mysterious as charming as something from a medieval festival. ‘Revelation Ground’ is an addition to such a vast discography of 14 studio albums not everyone can produce.

‘Revelation Ground’ marks the first release after a two-year hiatus. Sage explains what inspired the track: “I thought about the lyrics to “Turn, Turn, Turn”, inspired of course by the Old Testament psalm: ‘A time to build up, a time to break down/A time to dance, a time to mourn/A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together…’ These ancient and powerful words were an encouragement for me to move gracefully through personal and collective loss. I hope that ‘Revelation Ground’ can likewise provide comfort to listeners weathering hardships, knowing that everything is seasonal and that hope always returns.”

The world of Rachael Sage is currently open to visitors for people living in Ireland. Join her and Imelda May on tour and witness word wizardry.
