Indie Music people from all points North, South East and West will converge on Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee, September 30 – October 2, 2011 for the Independent Music Fest Nashville.
There will be multiple indoor stages with live music performances separated into two categories: Stages exclusively for singer songwriters who play their original songs looking for others to cut their material and stages for Performing Artist Only who are part of an Act or Show. Songwriters with original compositions will be assigned to play their songs at Original Songs Only stage areas. Those classified as Performing Artist can do cover tunes and will be assigned to a designated Cover Tunes Only stage areas.
The goal of the live music portion of the event is to pair Performing Artist who need great songs with original songwriters who have the types of material the Artist are seeking for their Act. By mixing the two together we hope to get writers products in the hands of others who are working shows, so we are having a Pitch Fest.
