Desi Liriano, or better known as Advent, is a rising singer and songwriter originating from New York City. Raised in the Dominican Republic, Desi was not exposed to much music. Moving back to New York City at the age of twelve, Desi discovered a whole new world of artists and sounds. From alternative to punk rock, Advent started to create his own style, influenced by the likes of blink-182, Fazerdaze, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and The Bilinda Butchers. Through his unique style, Advent uses music as an outlet for emotions and experiences. This enables the young artist to connect with people intimately around the world. Advent is set to leave his footprint in the music scene through his sound and style.
Advent releases his powerful, soothing, and uplifting alternative debut album ‘Search For Flame’. The nine-track album contains atmospheric guitar riffs, crunchy guitars, powerful drumlines, and grasping vocals by Advent. From the soothing tones in ‘Time is Passing By (Who Cares)’ to the blood rushing, guitar-heavy ‘Is This A Punk Song’, Advent delivers instrumental bliss combined with lyrical depth across the album.
