All Access PRIDE
Presented by Good Trouble Makers
A 16+ show celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride month, and raising funds to support the life-saving work of The Trevor Project
The Mint
Saturday, June 15th 1-4: 30 pm

With so many 21+ parties happening in Pride month, All Access PRIDE brings the party of Pride to teens and adults. LA alt-rock band VATTICA is teaming up with Good Trouble Makers, artist-agitators based in Los Angeles, to bring you a dynamic lineup of LGBTQ+ alternative rock, pop, dance and jazz artists, including Slow Dance, Retro Color and Shalane. The party raises funds to support the Trevor Project’s lifesaving and life-affirming services to LGBTQ+ youth.

VATTICA represents the new wave of rock; inspired by the authentic, infectious energy of the iconic, guitar-driven bands of the ’90s reimagined through the anthemic pop sensibilities and polarizing political landscape of today. From their home base in Los Angeles, CA, VATTICA creates high energy music and videos and produces multidisciplinary live events for everyone hoping for and working towards a better tomorrow for their communities, the climate, and our world.

VATTICA is led by frontman/singer/guitarist Alexander Millar, a bisexual artist/activist who is also a member of Good Trouble Makers, artist-agitators based in Los Angeles. Isaac Waters is on bass and vocals, and Jonny Rose is on guitar and vocals.

Retro Color
Retro Color initially formed in 2013 as a brother duo under the name Somewhat Ace. On January 17th, 2019, the brothers, Ethan and Jeremy, decided to change their name along with their overall look and sound. The band, now named Retro Color, is a pop rock band that originated in Temecula, Ca with a mission to promote self-love to their fans. They draw inspiration from bands such as Green Day and Fall out Boy, which influenced their simple hooks and energetic beats that continue to captivate the listener.

Slow Dance
A synth-pop power couple from New York, currently residing in Los Angeles. In 2015, Jacob and Alex met and immediately bonded over their mutual love of vintage synthesizers and music production. This initial spark led to a relationship that soon blossomed when they wrote their first song together “Give It All To You”; a song about giving into desire that later made an appearance on their 2017 debut EP “Guys Like You”. Through an eclectic array of inspirations that include androgynous 80s legends, pop-punk bands of the mid-00s, and modern top 40 hitmakers; Slow Dance explores a future that we all used to dream of, creating the unapologetically queer pop music that Jacob & Alex wished they heard when they were growing up. Now that they’ve moved to Los Angeles together, they’re ready to catch your eyes and your ears with infectious hooks and energetic live shows. In the last year, their music has been featured in numerous films and LOGOtv’s NewNowNext. Slow Dance also won first place in the Splice/Switched On Pop “Switched on Summer” contest. So take a listen, and let Slow Dance be the soundtrack to your retro-futuristic dreams.

Shalane
Raised up in the tucked away SoCal city of Pomona California, Soul Artist Shalane Goss encompasses a passion for poetry that incited at the tender age of 15 and unfolded into a burning love for music at the ready age of 21. Now, 26 years old, with 3 full Albums released and multiple singles, 10+ years of creative writing experience, a self-published Book of Poetry and 5+ years of rapping & singing experience the Up-and-Coming SoCal artist is making her name. Heavily influenced by the soulful sounds of Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Andre 3000, Frank Ocean, John Mayer, Adele, Sam Smith and artists alike, The Hip-Hop/Soul Artist aims to create music that moves the soul with warm and authentic sounds, connects people through relatable lyrics and makes one feels through the open expression of human emotion.
