Y’man Dog

Y’man Dog –
Born Baran Bevans, named after (Aldebaran) the brightest star in the constellation Taurus.

As the Eye of the Bull, Aldebaran is called the Eye of Revelation. It is referred to by astronomers and cosmologists as the Eastern Royal Star, one of the four Royal Stars considered the sentinels watching over other stars. It is also known as the Buddha’s star, the Star of Illumination, and God’s Eye.

Y’man Dog is a native of Forest Heights; a section of Oxon Hill, MD where he has evolved as a N.U. breed of entertainer. Throughout adolescences (late 80s’ to mid 90s’) Y’man Dog matured through growing pangs of a broken home and fascination of the street life while developing a passion for music. While admiring the works of artist like Earth, Wind, & Fire, Quincey Jones, Stevie Wonder, Micheal Jackson, and Jodeci to Eric B & Rakim, Kool Moe D, 2Live Crew, N.W.A., Wu-Tang, D.M.X., 2Pac, Redman, Jay-Z, Nas, AZ, Geto Boys, Spice 1, Too $hort, Mc Eiht, Bone Thugs, Master P., Three6 Mafia, and Hotboyz he developed a passion for articulating his own life & style.

Flowing through the new millennium as a trailblazing artist Y’man Dog went through the free styling with the homies and scribbles in the notepad to penning complete verses and orchestrating songs and eventually producing tracks in a local home studio with producer Lex-D {BloqueRockaMusic} formerly known as {One Chance Ent.} with aspirations of becoming a career music artist.

Y’man Dog is an eccentric contribution to the music industry. With his #raw style & “naturally-unique” proclaim, Y’man Dog unconsciously flirts with tenacity at partnering with a certified brand as its ambassador for ventures beyond rap.

With prolific lyricism, performance prowess, and a solid resume in tha streets as well as societies beyond, Y’man Dog is a force to be reckoned with.
